Piraeus Hotel

Hi all
I would very much appreciate any good recommandations on family hotels in
Piraeus (2 families staying one night on both inbound and outbound for the
ferries) in June.

You might want to consider staying elsewhere in the Athens area, and
taking the Metro down to the port. The port area hotels would not be
my first choice for family accommodation.

Having stayed in a Hotel in Piraeus I would agree with Alexander. Read
between the lines! All I will say was it was an interesting and not to
be repeated experience.

A Hotel I would recommend in Athens is The Attalos Hotel. Right next to
the Metro, very central and with a stunning view of the Acropolis from
the rooftop bar.

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately my brother-in-law "managed" to book a
couple of rooms before I sent him the warning !
But on our way back to Norway we will book the Attalos.
