Walking in Lesbos

hello,
we want to go for a walking-holiday to Lesbos and we want to stay in the
village Petra.
Is this a good idea ? (we don't want to rent a car or scooter)
Is there enough possibility to walk in the surrounding of Petra / Molivos ?
Does anybody know the appartment named "Ismini " in Petra ?

Maybe you mean Irini as in Studios Irini a great place to stay and one
of few in Petra.
This was my favourite town on Mytilini/Lesvos on our visit in late March
this year. You will like it I'm sure.
You can't walk to Molyvos or Mytilini town(too far) unless you are a
serious walker but with a car the island is easy to cover.
