 Mythimna - Lesvos

We spent a week in Lesvos in late March and loved it. Mytilini town is a
nice spot to roam-lots of activity and not too touristy.
Molyvos (Mythima) is very nice, more touristy but a long way from the
tourist levels of say Santorini.
We stayed at Mariantha Apartments in Molyvos, Evi the owner couldn't be
nicer.
The other place we really liked was Plomari which is not that far from
Mytilini or anywhere else really! It's a nice little town where we
stayed at Irini Studios, on the water on the edge of town-just perfect
and operated by two young school teachers. She spoke great English. It's
nearly the only place to stay in Plomari, although there some resort
type places outside town near the beach.
Up in the hills there is what they refer to as traditional villages and
I think it was called Agissos we visited and it was very interesting.
Sigi, one of the few places we didn't go, is said to be
nice-small/quaint/very scenic.
You can roam the whole island with a car in a week or less easily.
