Naxos is one of my favourite Islands, its big enough not to be entirely
dependant of the tourist dollar (or pound). The Plaza Beach looks a nice
hotel (I have never stayed...too expensive for me)! It is located a long way
down Plaka beach and if you wanted to use it as a touring centre the you
would probably need a car, the buses are quite frequent but get very
overcrowded in season although its at the end of the bus route so you would
get the first bid for seats! If you wanted a quiet, laid back holiday you
could simply go to the beach every day! The beach is great - one of the best
in Greece. If you do go, have a great time.
