Default Agios Nikolaos - The Heartbeat of Crete

Agios Nikolaos is a cosmopolitan resort which caters for many
nationalities. The lake and harbour area is the focal point of the town
and legend says that the goddess Athina once bathed in the "bottomless"
lake Voulismeni. Surrounded by mountains and with magnificent views of
the Gulf of Mirabello, the town boasts a wide selection of traditional
and contemporary reastaurants and tavernas and cafe bars around the
harbour are the perfect place to watch the world go by. The recently
built marina has hosted several major yachting events in the last two
years and is now the focus for art and music festivals which take place
throughout the summer. A wide variety of organised and individually
guided excursions are available direct from the apartments and the area
enjoys more days of sunshine per year than any other part of Europe.

Apartments to let in Crete, Greece. Ideal vacation location in central
position near sandy beach and marina. Available summer and winter.
Close to traditional tavernas, restaurants and shops. Easy access to
archaeology and historical places of interest. 30 minutes from golf
course. Excursions to knossos, santorini, spinalonga, lassithi and
samaria. Scuba and water sports available. Near to Elounda, beach and
Kritsa mountain village. Affordable accommodation in the heart of the
island of the Gods

Each apartment has a seperate bedroom with either double bed, adjacent
twin beds or two seperate single beds. All bedrooms have direct access
to a balcony. The living area has a comfortable double sofa bed for
additional guests and a kitchenette with either a dining table or
breakfast bar. A full size refrigerator with freezer compartment and
mini oven with three electric rings are fitted and all cooking
equipment, plates, cutlery, etc is provided. A door to the main balcony
leads off the living room. There is a private bathroom with shower, w.c
and hand wash basin in each apartment. All bed linen and towels are
provided. The majority of apartments have balconies overlooking the
marina and with sea and mountain views.
The reception area has an information desk where car hire and
excursions/boat trips can be booked. There is ADSL internet accesss and
a T.V in the residents lounge bar area. A washing machine is available
for the use of guests.
