Default is Akroteri on Santorini open?

The archeological excavation site at Akroteri has been closed due to
the construction of a new building around it to keep the ruins from
deteriorating. I know that it has been closed, but I cannot find out
if is is open NOW.

Has anyone been there to visit lately?

It was open when we visited last September.

The site is open for visitors, I was there end of July (couple of weeks
ago). I do not know if there is any active excavation going on right
now, there did not seem to be much activity other than visitors.

As far as I remember it is closed on Mondays and open till 3pm
Tue-Sun.
