greek honeymoon For Crete, it depends on what you want to do. If you desire the night life,
then you will have to stay in Chania, there is a nice hotel a couple blocks
from the harbor, the name of which escapes me. If you are going for the
beaches and relaxation, then go the Waterlily in Kalathos. It is 15km from
Chania, but it is right on the nicest beach in the area (walking distance)
and there are ample things in the area. The rooms are furnished suites with
a kitchen and the is a grocery store across the street. The people that run
it are great and it is affordable. Much less than Chania. There are also
restaurants and bars on the beach.
