Default going to Greece on Sun, 9/21

Finally going to Greece for the first time, arriving to eve of 09/21 to Athens.
Will spend 9/22 in Athens, after that it's open, would like to as much as I
can - Santorini, Mykonos and sites on mainland Delphi perhaps Mycenae.
Now I know this is very ambitious to accomplish in 8 days but I would
appreciate any suggestions on how to do this in terms of itinerary.
How long is it take to get to Mykonos using either Hydrofoil or fast ferry or
regular ferry ?
Can island of Delos be visited in half a day trip ?
Are hotels still open on both Mykonos and Santorini by the end of Sept and be
in $50 - 60 range ?
Would you suggest to contact travel agency in Greece to make reservations or
contact hotels directly ?
Do ferries travel at night and where in the states can I get the ferry
schedules ?

Thanks in advance

I know it's tempting to do as much as possible in a country where there are
millions of things to see, but my advice is to resist the temptation to cram
too much into your very short trip. If you're going to two islands, you've
already filled an eight-day trip. Santorini is definitely worth a visit. My
wife and I stayed there for three nights in June and that was enough to get a
good taste of things. I've not been to Mykonos, so I'm afraid I can't advise
you there, but I would highly recommend Naxos, which is about halfway between
Santorini and Mykonos. Delos is a very short ferry ride from Mykonos and can be
done in a half-day trip easily. From Naxos or Paros, however, it would longer
because you have to get all the way to Mykonos first.

What do you estimate travel time would be from Athens to Mykonos or Athens to
Santorini either going by regular ferry or fast ferry ?

Whatever you do, then as far as I know you cannot spend the night in Delos.

'Proper' hotels may be in the price range you mention, but you should be
able to find somewhat cheaper and more than adequate accommodation in rooms
and tavernas.
