Default Handle Design?

I could see something like that working, especially if they (rod builder)
would eliminate the rubber and wrap them into place like a guide, and look
pretty cool at the same time. Better, or more direct hand contact with the
blank can only improve feel. Being wrapped into place should hold them in
place better too. What do you think Steve & Dave.

I have "no" problem with the design. The reason I can say this is because of
the epoxy I use to bond reelseat parts to the blank. I could easily make a
two part reelseat that would expose the blank between the sections. And I
would warranty that rod as I do all MCR rods.

My only thought is that the parts "might " be hard on the hand, but this
could also be alleviated with a hosel at either end.
