| | Guest | How many Euros We are flying into Barcelona for a two day stay before boarding a cruise ship.
The hotel is paid for, transportation to AC Diplomatic from the airport is not.
We will pay the hotel excess charges with a credit card.
Two days, meals somewhere, maybe at the hotel, maybe in town, how many Euros
might we need?

maybe at hotel ,maybe in town ? How do you expect others to know how
much cash you'll need ? Do you want to go by taxi from the airport ?
Upclass restaurants in town may accept credit cards.
Let's say you'll 100 Euro, spend the rest with cc. If there's Euros left
try to split the hotel bill paying part with cc and part with the left
euros. | |

You didn't say how many of you there are. I would first find out what the
transportation is to the pier and than add about 120 Euro per person for the
two days. You can always spend any excess Euro on the cruise.......

| | Guest | How many Euros You can take a bus shuttle from airport to Plaza de Cataluña, 9 EUR. Your
hotel is very near to Plaza Cataluña, you can go walking. If you catch a
taxi due your luggage it'll cost 6 EUR. Close to your hotel is Las Ramblas,
where there are a lot of cheap resturants, from 15 "el menu del dia". Go
walking and enjoy.
The port is located at the end of Las Ramblas, 9 EUR in a taxi.
Barcelona is an "open town". Visit the Salvador Dalí museum, the Cathedral,
La Paça de la Generalitat...
And don't worry if you don't understand what the folks speak, they usually
speaks "catalán".
Cheers.

Get a bunch at any ATM. You will need a bunch. Not just for Barcelona, but
for the cruise also. The tip for cabin and dining room at the end of the
cruise will be at least a 100. For Barcelona, beware of pick pockets,
capitol of Europe for PK's. So just take the money for the day in your
front pocket and keep credit cards / ID secure inside you clothes in a
money belt. For Barcelona itself, figure buses / taxies and snacks and
trinkets will be at least 70E per day.
