Default London Tube - More Questions

Okay, so maybe I'm a bit thick, but I've visited the London Transit
website and I'm still having trouble making sense of what I should
purchase. Maybe if I give my specific requirements, someone could make
a recommendation?

I'm travelling from Brussels on the train and arriving at Waterloo
Station in the evening. I'll be travelling from Waterloo to Regent
Street tube stop since my hotel is apparently close to that station.
That should be the only trip I make that night.

I then have two full days in London and want to cram in as many of the
typical tourist sights as possible (Tower, Westminster, Buckingham
Palace, Eye, etc) and hit some pubs in the evening. I was also
thinking of trying to do a couple of the London Walking Tours (Jack
the Ripper and Beatles). Also, I was thinking of spending one of my
days doing the on-off tour bus thing and seeing some of the
attractions that way.

Finally, on the last day I'll be travelling back to Waterloo from the
hotel, and that should be my only trip.

So, based on this, any advice as to what, if any, type of tube pass I
should purchase? Is the tour bus thing a good value?

Thanks in advance,

Ian

I concur with this advice. If you're traveling on the weekend, your total
cost for two single fares and a weekend travelcard should be 10.40 pounds
(vs. 12.60 pounds if you're traveling during the week and use two one-day
travelcards.)
