Travel from Athens to Dubrovnik It may depend on what time of year you're looking at -- there are
international flights into Dubrovnik and Split in the summer that are not
offered year round because there is no demand. But you should be able to get
a Croatian Air flight into either from Zagreb year round. Sometimes flights
aren't offered every day, just a couple days a week. Why don't you start
with Croatian Air's website and work backwards (ie see if you can get to
Zagreb to Athens?)
As for your second question (Dubrovnik to Ljubljana) -- bus may be your best
bet, or flying. There is a ferry in season that goes up the coast, but off
season it has very limited service. The train doesn't reach Dub., it stops
at Split.
I am by no means an expert on travelling in Croatia, but I had to do a lot
of research for my own trip there, off season (May) (and I'm going back!!!).
The country's travel hub is Zagreb.
