 Athens in Dec/Jan?
We're planning a trip to Athens, Greece at the end of 2003.
How's the weather in Athens between Christmas and New Year's Day? Is
it best to concentrate on Athens or are there must-see sights in
nearby cities which we should make time for? We'll be there for
about 6 days.
When we visited Rome, we stayed in a monastery, which was really
inexpensive but nice. Do religious houses in Greece offer rooms for
tourists?
Any other tips?
