Spain or Portugal in late November >...If it's a bad year, it may rain. If it's a good year, you may have

You mean, if it's a good year, it will rain, but not too much. A world
that is all sunshine and no rain doesn't work very well. The winter I
had to go to Doņana to see birds it didn't rain a drop all
winter...and I didn't see any birds. But the next winter when I went
to Cazorla & the Sierra de Alpujarras, it rained cats and dogs and
several times I had to backtrack because even some major roads were
closed by landslides. In any case, if you've got the time and money,
southern Iberia is a great place to be in early winter/late fall. By
the way, the bustling summer resort of Matalascaņas is a great place
to stay in the winter while touring the Doņana area if you like quiet
and economical. |
