Personally, I found it one of the few places where the photos looked
better!
But I still found it worth it.
En route (from the west coast) there is a great area of steam geysers.
And above Pammukkale is a wonderful Graeco/Roman mausoleum area and
ancient city.

It certainly is, because there is no other place worldwide. The Pink and
White Terraces in New Zealand were destroyed in 1886 by a volcano.

You may no longer be allowed to walk over the "cotton castle", but it still
is a sight!
