Default Moving to Italy

My brother is moving to the Lavorno Italy area for employment purposes. Does anyone living in the area know the geneeral dimensions of a three bedroom common house? He is undecided on how much furniture to bring and does not want to purchase too much while there. Obviously he does not want to bring his sofa, if it is too big for the living rooms in Italy. Any info would help. Cheers

Are you suggesting that not all Italian three-bedroom homes are exactly the
same size?

Isn't there an EU directive on such matters?

Advice.
Move everything over, see what fits in and what not.
I will buy whatever is left out.

Default Moving to Italy

I'm questioning the average size of Italian homes. For instance, if I moved to Japan, I would expect to find smaller home sizes. This is my wonderings about the typical Italian homes.
