Will the Domus Aurea re-open this summer?

Rome's Domus Aurea has been closed for restoration since August 21,
2007 but somewhere, I believe, I heard that it was supposed to
possibly re-open in the summer of 2008. Is this true and, if so, how
does one obtain the reservations for tickets that are so "strongly
recommended"? Has anyone heard anything about this? Has anyone ever
had a chance to see Nero's Golden House and could tell us about it?
