temporary internet connection in spain

hello

we will be renting an apartment in spain for three weeks. i will
carry my laptop, but since we won't be staying in hotels are any
internet providers with whom i can subscribe for a short period? the
apartment has a phone. dialup is all i need to pick up e-mail.

we will be staying in malaga. what would you suggest, other than
cybercafe's?

Do a Google search for Gonuts4free

They charge you on the phone bill of
the phone you are using.

In Spain I find them excellent, and can even
access them from the UK (although there
is little real point in doing so) by prefacing
their number with 0034

Can't remember if you can set them up before
you go but it might be worth a try.

It might be worth checking out AOL - they have dial-up numbers in most
countries and I think give you the first month free. The interface is
a bit annoying but my backup AOL account has saved my virtual bacon on
the road more than once...
