Default any singles holidays that let you do your own thing?

If you take a holiday on you own, you can buy one-day tours to various
places when you arrive. I often do that and usually find interesting
people on the same tour. It can often be a good way to meet people and
make new friends.

I don't know if such tours exist. But what would be the point of
joining? You are just buying transportation and some vague social
gathering with people you have never met before and may or may not
even like. Why not just tour on your own and go to places in the
evening where people like you gathers, such as a local pub or places
near universities.
