It's easy and quick to get to from Spain, and it's a cheap place to
hang out in for a few days if you're waiting for a visa or visa

Well, if he needs to spend 3 months outside the Schengen zone, then
that's out. I thought people could get renewals in a few days, like
you can for most Asian countries. | |

for 3 weeks, didn't need a visa, but that's not 3 months. | |
