It's easy and quick to get to from Spain, and it's a cheap place to
hang out in for a few days if you're waiting for a visa or visa
renewal.

For 3 months? I suppose Patsy and Eddie could do it.

They sold her far too cheap. :-)

Well, if he needs to spend 3 months outside the Schengen zone, then
that's out. I thought people could get renewals in a few days, like
you can for most Asian countries.

Spend 90 days in Ireland now and again?

Ireland isn't a Schengen country...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.

Assuming the OP doesn't need a visa to stay in Ireland as well. :-)

I understand that the Irish government can be very flexible in these
matters...

I'm a US citizen. Would I need a visa for Ireland? I was there in 97
for 3 weeks, didn't need a visa, but that's not 3 months.

UK used to be six months - has it changed recently?
