Default Rental car: pickup in Vienna, dropoff in Dubrovnik??

Actually, Peugeot has a leaseback that allows travel in Croatia, but
not the ex-Soviet Union countries insurance cover is the limiting
factor). But they don't deliver to Vienna...I have to fly into
Frankfort and pay US$160 on both ends for pickup and dropoff.

Personally, I've never done a leaseback and am deeply intrigued by it,
but a little suspicious. Are there any hidden pitfalls? What can you
tell me about it?

I agree. It's far worse here than in France or Italy I find.

How did he return the vehicle back to Italy? By shipping it?
