des Etats Unis Promenade des Anglais? What are the choices, and which method
is recommended?

Yes.

Thanks very much. About how much would the taxi cost? How much is the bus?
If we take the bus, where should we get off, and will we have trouble
recognizing when to do it?
Also if we take the bus, do we need tickets or can we pay on the bus? If the
former, where do we buy the tickets? If the latter, can the driver make
change or do we need exact change?
We've never been in Nice before, so know nothing about any of this.

We took our first trip to Nice about this time last year. Don't know
how much time you are spending there, but be sure to take the narrow
gauge train to Entrevaux - and climb to the top of the fortress is
possible! A day trip combnining St. Paul and Vence is also a very good
choice. | |

So when does your Death in Vence premiere?

I would add Puget-Theniers to the schedule too.

Looks like an interesting programme (the Wigmore Website doesn't know what
you've titled the work, BTW). I'm supposed to be going to India the
previous day but I haven't booked that yet, so I'm tempted to
reschedule a tad... | |

That sounds a better idea. I'll bring my dog, my Dell laptop and a box of
Cuban cigars. Maybe I could borrow an SUV to transport them?
