If you are planning on a long trip, visit Greece first, Italy second,
and Switzerland third for weather reasons. If you are only going for
three weeks or so it probably won't make much of a difference
weatherwise which order you do it in - whether you are in Athens on
April 4 or April 17.
If you are really interested in ancient cultures, you may prefer to see
Greece first and then Rome, to see more of the influence of Greek
culture on Ancient Rome, and how that impacts their legacies. Then
visiting other sites in Rome and visiting Florence and Venice you will
see the Greek and Roman influence on the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
