| | Guest | Italy - All Inclusive Hi,
My wife and I are looking to holiday for the first time in quite a number of
years and we have decided on Italy as the destination.
Can anyone recommend the best place to look (in the UK) for all inclusive
holidays in Italy please?
I have looked on a number of sites but so far haven't found anything
suitable.
Many thanks.

Why would you go for "all inclusive"? Italy is not Cancun or other places
that may be remote. Just pick a town / city in Italy that you would like
the region of. Lots of places to eat in all the areas that have any size.
Just wander down a street and look at the menu, and if liked, ask if you
need a reservation that evening. If needed make one. Then after dinner
wander by a gelato stand, or coffee shop / bakery. Daughter is at an All
inclusive now in Tahiti for her honeymoon, I can see one there, but not in
Italy or France or Spain.

By "all inclusive" I thought the original poster was referring to what
we would normally call a package holiday, where you pay up front for
your flight, accommodation, and possibly meals, and all the bookings
are done for you.

The common usage I have see for "All Inclusive" is that it includes
transportation, transfers, hotel, meals, recreation, and drinks
including at least non branded alcohol. It is usually the latter that
attracts customers. Some recreational activities may be extra.

I see. Well it sounds absolutely dreadful. Why anyone would want to go
to Italy for that, I can't imagine

I look at all inclusive, as the same as Cancun and MX resorts. Includes
room, all meals, even booze. You are going to eat all your meals at the
resort, etc. | |
