| | Guest | Can I use my GSM phone in France and England? I have a triband, Siemens CF62T which, according to T-Mobile, is a
triband 900/1800/1900 phone. On my trip first to England, then
France, I plan to buy a sim card hopefully to use in both countries.
Will this be a problem, and if not, where is the best place to buy a
sim card? Should I buy one in US before travel and if so, what site
to buy it?

If your phone is unlocked, it should work just fine in France and England.
There are phone shops absolutely everywhere - I wouldn't bother trying
to buy a SIM before leaving the US. | |

| | Guest | Can I use my GSM phone in France and England? I called T-Mobile, my former carrier, and they are sending me the
unlock code, so I'll be ready to go. My thoughts were to be able to
give the phone number to my family before I leave the U. S. but that's
no big deal. What do you think about using a phone card also?

all of Europe.
The best place to buy SIM cards is on ebay.co.uk and ebay.fr, and have
them posted to you.
I've recently bought an O2 pay-as-you-go SIM card on ebay for $3
including postage. | |
