Having been to both I'd suggest that Ghent is nicer than Antwerp, but a day
in each would be better than two days in one and none in the other.
Also I recall that Ghent railway station is a bit of a walk from the town
centre - but there are trams leaving from just outside the station. (I know
someone who arrived at Ghent station, started walking into town, gave up
when they didn't seem to get anywhere interesting and left again!) |
