Default Exchange rates

The exchange rate fluctuates daily (actually it fluctuates within a day
but no store/restaurant/hotel can deal with these additional changes) so
I'm not sure why your tour company sent you information about rates at a
single fixed point in time. However, I sincerely hope your tour company
sent you advice recommending you carry very little US cash to convert to
Euros and simply get money out of an ATM on an as-needed basis.

What if the OP isn't from the US. They should still carry a little US cash?
