Default Visiting Multiple countries (England, Scotland France)

Hi all,
I'm an Indian citizen living in the US and want to go to some European
countries this May for vacation. I was planning on visiting London,
Paris, Scotland and possibly Rome.

Could someone give me some pointers on the following, please?

1. I'm planning on getting a visa for England and a Schengen visa for
Paris.
Do I need any additional visa to visit Scotland or is the England visa
good enough?

2. How do I book the hotel rooms in different countries, all websites I
looked into offer me package tours for London or Paris, but I want to
break the tour midway and go to Paris for some days. Are there any
websites which offer London/Paris combos?

3. The eurorail/EuroStar travel between London-Paris looks quite
expensive, could any one suggest alternative, less expensive transport?

Thanks for your time,
Lax

There is no such thing as an 'England visa' - England and Scotland are part
of the United Kingdom. You will need a _British_ visa, which will allow
you to travel to both England and Scotland.

The cheapest, but also slowest and least pleasant way to get between
the cities is by Eurolines bus. The bus goes on to a giant car ferry
to cross the English channel, and the whole trip takes roughly eight
hours.

The cheap airline "Easyjet" flies from London-Luton to Paris. If you
book at least two weeks in advance it should be reasonable.

You don't need a package tour unless you want one. Both of those
cities are really easy to tour on your own, and a tour will generally
be a lot more expensive than just doing it yourself.
