Default What's a decent but inexpensive hotel in Odesa?

x-no-archive: yes

Am not looking for luxury, just a safe inexpensive hotel downtown that
will not feel the urge to rip off a Westerner. I can speak Russian.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

Ha, Ha. Texas rips off Westerners?
In the Odessa, in Ukraine, the Chornoye More is good value, and pretty
central.
It would probably help to speak Russian, though.
We also looked at the Londonskaya - beautiful and very expensive.

I can.
No luxury hotel for me. I am all about budgets. and honesty.

Ultimately I stayed at the Spartak in the heart of downtown, a
beaten-up old hotel with shared bathrooms. It was only $12/night. The
price was right.
