Because, from a tourist perspective, Western Europe is still going
to be the same in 10 years time. Much of Eastern Europe is not.
I feel sorry for people who never had the chance to visit it before
the wall came down.

Possibly. I feel sorrier for the people from there who
couldn't visit outside the wall before it came down.
