Default Good London guidebook for young adults?

We'll be there next summer with my 19 year-old daughter and her best
friend. I prefer Fodors for the general info and walking tours (which I
really enjoy), but I'd like to get something for her with more detail
on trendy shopping areas and other things of more interest at her age.
Any suggestions?

I'll open the bidding with the Let's Go London city guide, sight
unseen.

But I recently went looking for a London guide of my own, despite
being a native (since I have been in exile so very long) and chose the
Routard, although that may be too French for some tastes.

Presumably "Rough Guides" are targeted at the younger audience.

Doesn't Time Out do something?

Time Out is the best. It's intended for residents rather than
visitors, so it includes a lot more information on neighborhoods,
shopping, restaurants, and nightlife and gives less coverage to tourist
sights (which you can get from Fodors).
