Or as my old boss used to say.

way up, you might meet them again on the way down'

I assumed he was just talking about you, Magda :-)

Its quite cheap if you are a registered student and get the
Academic licensed version.
Get yourself on a recognised part time training course
and you can get version for around $350
If all you want to do is straightforward drafting work then Autocad LT
will be just fine. Of course Autocad is no longer the market
leader it once was, Microstation from Bentley Systems is
a bigger seller and is very heavily used in France.
EDF alone have over 2500 licenses IRC
Bentley have a cut down version of Microstation called
Powerdraft that can be downloaded free by accredited
students.

Alas. Some of my pupils have a terrible handwriting, for they
practically never write anything out of school. That goes along with
incredibly mediocre grammar and spelling. They claim that they never
/need/ to write, for they mostly chat on MSN and send textos as an
ersatz for communication.
An English teacher colleague of mine reported a pupil who translated 'Je
porte mon sac" by /I door my bag/. The pupil, who was not from a
non-French-speaking family at all, did not differentiate between a
French verb and a French noun.
No spellchecker will ever be of any use for such kids, and I find it
extremely worrying. We junior high school teachers are their last chance
to correct it, but I fear it's already too late.

There are those who are actively aggressive. Surprisingly their
behaviour is silently accepted by most. | |

More excuses for inaction.
In my mid 30's was made redundant from my engineering job in 1984.
I got myself back to school for a year, obtained a qualification
in IT and havent looked back since. You are stuck in a rut
that you claim to hate. Climb out of it or stop whining.
