sorry for the double post, my computer submitted by mistake.

anyway I have an 85 dodge prospector. my electrionic locks are starting to
act up on me, the passengers side won't unlock and when it does, as soon
as I let go of it it shoots back down. also the driver's side door
sometimes will open. and I have to hold the key turned so I can open it.
also it makes repetitive clicking noises when I try to lock it sometimes.
    any help is apperciated.

Does this have keyless entry? If so, maybe the lock button on one of the
remote is sticking. Try taking all of the remotes about 100 yards away from
the vehicle and see if it does the same thing.

    1985 .. 19 years .. The wiring harness(s) between the door(s) and the
chassis are all broken up, inside, fom the continuous flexing. Down
through the years, every time you open the doors they flex, and metal
fatigue has finally done it's ugly thing. I'm surprised that they
    lasted this long.

If you can find new ones, replace them. Otherwise, un-tape them and
do what you can to repair them.

    So many Garys ..so..

well now it's only the passengers side door, it won't unlock the driver's
door anymore when I pull it up or push it down, but the driver's door will
lock/unlock it. Also sometimes the passengers side requires excessive
force to pull it up to unlock, but the key works fine. and no I don't have
    keyless entry

Also does anyone know of a snow plow made for the 85 prospector, Ram? Also
how effective/safe it would be to use it as a branch and leaf pusher if I
got a grill to save my radiator?

I have another question. What would it take to convert my Truck thats a
    2WD, to a 2WD/4WD?

More than it's worth. In all seriousness, unless the truck has some huge
sentimental value to you, you would be wasting your time and money
attempting that type of conversion and that's if you are successful.

Front axle, front suspension, possibly new front cross member, possibly new
oil pan, transmission tailshaft, possibly new trans crossmember, transfer
case, front driveshaft, shortened rear driveshaft, t-case shifter, linkage,
lots of labor, lots of fabrication experience.

Or... a for sale sign, and a checkbook.
