Default Ever thought it would be fun to imagineer?

Nighttime comes over Disneyland.

A flat black crane silently rises to a great height from off stage above
Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Hanging from the crane from 100 feet is a powerful 3 foot fan rotary
propulsion fan.

As power to the fan is applied, the fan swings in a huge area randomly.
This is how my patented new firefly works.

When the fan goes into it's largest swing, the illumination comes on to a
spectacular 2-foot model of Tinkerbell suspended far under the fan, with a
fifteen foot long train of golden sparkles trailing around behind her,
graduating from large to smaller sparkles at the end.

On one of the arcs that come closest to the Castle, the self-illuminating
Tinkerbell's light is extinguished, sparks shoot out in all directions from
the Castle, as if she had hit it with her wand.

An public address introduction uses the time to reel Tinkerbell in, and
lower the crane back down, and the fireworks begin.

Let's share our imagineering ideas here for fun.

When I originally conceived this, Tinkerbell was 4 feet tall, with a train
of sparkles 15 feet long. The best length would, of course, also be cut in
half to a 7 foot train.

I think the train could be made from a mesh of netting, with golden lights
reflecting on golden metallic pieces.

Obviously, Tinkerbell would appear the greatest if she were only 12" high,
and a trail of great effervescent sparkles trailing behind.

Her flight over the castle, before the upturned faces of the astonished
thousands would be the most cherished event in the history of Disneyland.

As far as animation of Tinkerbell:

Her wings, transparent, would flutter rapidly, and her legs would
occasionally pump like she's on a bicycle. No one would doubt that she's
alive.
