Default Submarines coming back

I was at Disneyland Tuesday and saw signs that the submarine ride is
coming back with a Nemo theme next year. Has anyone seen
any concept drawings or otherwise heard anything on what it
will look like?

Go to Mousetimes.com if you want to see progress on it. They usually
have pretty to date pictorials of it.

The head of Pixar, John Lasseter, now the head of all Disney
Imagineering was on the radio up here couple months back hyping Cars.
(The people that do the Sarah and No Name morning radio show I listen
to got to do voices in the movie.) He was talking about how excited he
was about the changes they were making to the submarine ride for Nemo.
He wasn't very specific, but he sounded genuinly ecstatic about what it
was going to be like.

I just hope they don't make it too cutesy. Maybe they should add some
killer stingrays.

Yikes!!!! I hope they handle the probable huge queues that will
probably happen better than they did with Pirates this last June. That
side of the park was an absolute nightmare for almost a week.

I remember the old sub ride as being a very slow loader and it will
take awhile to move the lines.

yeah, that ride had a 90 minute to two hour wait. It was ghastly.

The lines are just going to be terrible. You might want to wait about
six months to a couple of years to ride on it.

Yeah. It's running a little late. There are three shifts running 24
hours a day to make it, though.
