Default How Busy in Early September?

Hello,

I'm planning on coming to Disneyland September 4-6. How busy will the
park be at that time? Are there any ride closures? Does anyone know of
any hotels very near the park that have great rates?

Thanks.

I've heard before that Labor day can actually be quite quiet at DL. Is
that ever true?

Only if everyone decides that "Everyone and their mother will be
there, so I'll stay home". And that isn't going to happen often. ;-P

A few years ago (2001), we went the Tues,Weds,Thurs following Labor
Day. It was FANTASTIC!!! Small crowds, nothing was closed for
refurbishment, and the park was still staying open into the evening
hours so we could really get our money's worth. I imagine that Labor
Day itself will be busy, but the days following should be great!
