The Magic Kingdom (WDW) get over 16 million visitors per year. When
they opened WDW there were other tourist attractions such as Cypress
Gardens and Gatorland, to name two, reasonably close by.
One major question is how much incentive would a one or two day park
be. Consider people from Toronto, Montreal or Quebec. would it be
easier for them to get to WDW or to Vancouver? (If I'm understand
correctly, those three metropolitan areas account for about half of
Canada's population. And for people from the US Pacific Northwest, if
not within driving distance would they come North (especially in the
winter) or go to the Los Angeles area?
