RIP Dapper Dans

I heard from a reliable source that the Dapper Dans will be
silenced as of the end of this month, due to Disneyland's
refusal to renew their contract! This great men's quartet
has been entertaining DL guests since 1959 (!) with great
harmony and those unique Organ Chimes.

I am VERY disappointed that the Suits are replacing this
talented group for a younger, more "hip" sound. Good grief,
that's what Main Street USA is all about--old fashioned
music and nostalgic entertainment. What next--replacing the
horse and buggy ride with a souped up Jag? Replacing the
Opera House with The Viper Room? Replacing Mickey Mouse
with Tom Cruise??

Does anyone have a "guest comment" email address that
someone will actually read?

I guess Castmember Matt didn't like them.

Actually, I don't think I've seen them in many many years. I'm
surprised they still even worked there.

THIS is what scares me. "Changes to the creative content"
leaves the door wide open, doesn't it?
