Be sure to stop by City Hall. Tell them it's your friend's birthday,
and he'll get a sticker to wear. Expect him to get lots of attention
and special treatment from employees, and even other guests. I always
spend my birthday at Disneyland!
As to memorable experiences, make sure you see the renovated Indiana
Jones, and the Pirates ride. Do Splash Mountain, Small World,
Matterhorn, and Thunder Mountain. Be sure to pace yourself, and relax
between rides with some sit-down activities such as Billy Hill and the
Hillbillies, the Mark Twain boat ride, the Lincoln show, and Tiki room
(if you are especially fortunate, Maynard may be running the show).
Get your picture taken with some of the characters. If you have the
energy, and are not a shy person, look for the bus on Main Street
about an hour before the Parade of Stars. They'll ask you if you want
to be in the parade. If you say yes, it will be an unforgettable
experience. If you can, get someone in your group to stay behind to
take pictures or video of your performance.
In the evening, enjoy the fireworks show in front of the castle, then
head on over and close out the night with Fantasmic. Have a great
time!!!
