Default Beggars at DL Entrance?

Are they still there? It's been a few years but I remember them being
all around the bus stops and at each street crossing. Not the best way
to start/end a day at DL....

No, but as long as they are out on public property there isn't a thing
anyone can do about them except ignore them. Giving them anything is
only encouraging them to stay.

The only problem is, cheetos don't come in a brown paper bag, and you
don't chug said cheetos from said bag...

8-10 hours? And you're proud of that?

There is no excuse for not having a job. Fast food joints are always
hiring. I don't care if you are so-called over qualified, a job is a job.
It makes me sick all of these unemployed people almost on the streets
because they "can't find a job." People need to get over themselves and
realize, that there is no such thing as "I'm too good to work at (fill in
the blank here)". Money is money, and I would work scrubbing toilets before
being put out on the street.

Am I proud of working 8-10 hours a day? Well I am not sure if proud
is the word -- it's a reality. I am a responsible person. I don't
take hand outs and don't expect a free ride. So if that makes me
pride -- then yes.

Money isn't everything and most jobs aren't worth applying for. There
are far more interesting jobs than working at a fast food place
anyway.

If people are unemployed and are sooooo over qualified, why not just apply
to be a CM @ DL?

There ya go, make $7.71 an hour, no guarantees on how many hours, or
if you will get any benefits other than a bi-weekly paycheck....
