That's the only WDW hotel I've stayed at... and I didn't think it was anything
special. I've visited some of the others. The Boardwalk, GF, Poly, and
Wilderness Lodge looked better too me. But I'm sure they are more expensive,
so maybe you were talking referring to the 'bang for your buck'... I dunno.

Even though I 'hate Walt Disney World', I'm staying at the AK Lodge when I go
in Dec... and based on what I've seen it looks fantastic.

Yay! Decemter's a great time to go, Ben. You won't be staying in MY
favorite resort (the Beach Club), but I have a friend who swears by the AKL,
so I know you'll like it. I think my plans are going to be October (the
Halloween party and Wishes).

The swan is in WDW but not run by disney. I do not think many would agree
it is the best hotel in WDW in fact it is not widely liked and is easy to
get 1/2 price on priceline.
