Default most missed attraction or show?

what extinct attraction or show do you miss the most? i miss the submarines
actually, swiss family's treehouse when it wasn't tarzan's, and (hehehee)
captain eo! i'm sorry, i know it was cheesy, and 80's, and probably time for it
to go, but come on, wasn't it fun?!! "very beautiful within, your highness, but
without a key to unlock it. and that is my gift to you." hehehehee!!!!!!!!!

just a fun question to get the ball rollin'.......... i'm a little tired of the
pirates movie topic (sorry!)

Horizons. Oh. Here? Um, Inner Space. All of Tomorrowland, really, now that
it's Ghost Town. Peoplemover the absolute most.

I did that too. I recorded People Mover, the ride around on the Mark Twain,
Pirates and Haunted. I still bring them out and listen to the People Mover
thing.
PM is what I miss the most.

I'd love to see them bring it back, perhaps with a longer track that loops
around DCA?

I was a little girl back in the eighties when we started going to Disneyland
regularly, so I totally miss all the eighties attractions like Captain EO
and the People Mover. I also miss America Sings, that show was awesome, and
the Submarine Voyage with the mermaids.

I will say however, that I really have enjoyed their replacements, it's been
fun seeing everything evolve. I'm going this Christmas back to Disneyland,
and staying at their new hotel. I can't wait to get on the Pooh ride! Then I
can finally say, I rode Pooh.

(giggle)

Brightest Blessings,
Ravana

Default most missed attraction or show?

When I was a kid, my parents took me to the just-opened
Disneyland. I had been mesmerized by the recent film
_20K Leagues Under the Sea_, and being able to actually
walk through the _Nautilus_ in Tomorrowland was my
idea of heaven-on-earth. I wanted to just stay there all
day, and so informed my parents.

Unreasonably, they pointed out that they had driven
500 miles in the summer heat to take me to Disneyland,
to say nothing of buying me an A-E coupon book.
The _Nautilus_ was a measly "A"-ticket.

So I was dragged screaming out of my cherished
submarine to be forced on various B-Es until
midafternoon, when my disgusted parents let
me go back to you-know-what for the rest of the day.

I'm in my 50s now, but if the _Nautilus_ sets
were still there, I'd probably still react the same. :-)

Are you attending the 20k expo this weekend? I wanted to so badly but can't
because of home stuff. It's at the Anaheim Marriott and is cheap for what you
get - 45 bucks and there's talks on the film, and also on Discovery Bay...and
I'm going to (sobs and weeps) miss it!!
