I would think it would also be beneficial to stop at Uni and the convention
center as well, wouldn't it?

It was I, you fools! The man you trusted wasn't Wavy Gravy at all! And
all this time, I've been smoking harmless tobacco!

What was I laughing at now? ...Oh yes, that crippled Irishman!

It would defeat the purpose by not being a straight-line, high-speed railway
with few stops. To accomplish what you suggest, it would have to bend all over
the place, and make quite a few stops.

They just approved building a light rail in Phoenix. Why, nobody knows. Phoenix is a city that is
spread out all over. Jobs and houses are scattered everywhere. Not easy to make a light rail system
work in such an area. No way would it get people to their place of work without a LONG walking distance
except possibly in the downtown area. Does Seattle have distinct residential and business areas like San
Francisco does? BART carries people from major housing areas to only a few major business areas...namely
SF. Most can walk from the terminals to their work.

Guess I have it lucky here in Phoenix. It takes me about 20 minutes to drive the 12 miles
from home to my work. I can take any number of streets or hop on the freeway. There are
people here that commute 1 hour or more each way but thats a rarity. I won't take a job
downtown. Not worth it.

Is Disney paying for it? Tourist tax $'s that also come from UNI and
Seaworld and hotels etc. are also paying for it. If someone pays for
something don't you think they should get a part of it?

Is there a way to find out the percentage of tax dollars paid by Disney vs.
those paid by Uni etc?
