I'm a Grandma

Molly Noel made me a grandma for the first time this afternoon at
1:30! Woo hoo! Everyone is healthy, happy, and tired!

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. How big? Is mom doing
good? Were you there?

My daughter-in-law is a financial planner with a Master's in
taxation. She's no dummy!

I do! And guess where I will be spoiling her the most? Her mother
already is planning a trip to WDW in December since all their
birthdays are in December. I'll be happy to go as the unpaid
babysitter!

7 pounds 5 ounces. 18-1/2 inches. Lots of dark hair. Perfectly
round face, only a little bit of a conehead. I was there but not in
the delivery room. Held her about 30 minutes after she was born. Mom
is exhausted. Started labor at 10 last night and didn't deliver till
1:30 this afternoon but she didn't suffer too much. To quote her,
"Drugs are wonderful!" Dad is over the moon. Needless to say, so are
the rest of us. She's a much anticipated, very much wanted addition
to our family! Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!

I'm heading down in February so I'm sure my daughter and I will be
getting her lots of little goodies including her very own ears!
