| | Guest | Quick AP question... This is how it works for me. When you buy your AP online (as I did) and
then you show up later to redeem it
and get your REAL AP, the start date for the AP will be the date you
BOUGHT it.
That rule about it not being active until you used it went bye-bye years
ago, sadly.
I do buy mine in advance so I can have access to AP discounts and the
website.
When I got to the exchange office last year, for less than 50 bucks, I
got an AP from that date.

I've bought AP vouchers, from AAA in Florida, and later redeemed them
at WDW.
The AP begins on the day you redeem the voucher.
This would apply to a *new* AP, *not* a renewal.
HOWEVER, when you *renew* an AP, it renews on the anniversary date of
the existing AP -- regardless of whether you did so via a voucher or
otherwise.
(You can also purchase AP renewal vouchers at AAA in Florida as well) | |

| | Guest | Quick AP question... Well, that's how it worked for me last year. I just got this year's
voucher so I will see
in October. I would love for it to be the other way. Lisa

| | Guest | Quick AP question... If it's a renewal, it will be effective from your previous expiration date.
My current AP expires 5/1/09. I went ahead and bought a voucher for the
renewal before the price increase. When I pick up the new one, it will be
effective 5/1/09, regardless of when I activate it (at least that's my
understanding of the way it's supposed to work).
