Default Disneyland report

Just got back from a week in 'shake and bake' land. We stayed at the
Candy Cane Inn, a 2 block walk from the parks. By the 2nd day, we were
VERY grateful that they had a shuttle. The rooms were very clean, and
the property is very well maintained. While I was there they were in
the process of replacing the carpeting in all the rooms. Disneyland
has pretty much the same number of rides as MK, but since it's packed
into a smaller area, it seems more crowded.

Things not to be missed at Disneyland (in my opinion):

Original tiki room (you have to see it at least once)
Disneyland Railroad (there are some cool dioramas between tomorrowland
and main street)
Pirates of the Caribbean
Finding Nemo
Indiana Jones ride
Fantasmic
Tom Sawyer Island (if you have the time)
Alice in Wonderland

in DCA:

Tower of Terror (actually, FL is a little better ride, but the effects
are better in CA)
California Screamin (if you like roller coasters)
Toy Story Mania

The nice thing about DCA is that most of the rides have very short
'single rider lines', so if you're traveling with a group of people
who can go on a ride by themselves, it's the way to go.

Thanks for you thoughts. We found Aladdin to be a not miss at DCA.
Simply amazing
production. Wish it was at WDW too. I think CCI will be where we stay
too.
We were there in February and it was very convienent for us! Lisa
