Default Disney World on a budget

I'm planning a trip for next Summer and I'd like to know what the least
expensive accomodations are near the parks. I'm willing to accept almost
anything, just as long as it's clean and safe.

I'll probably stay four nights.

Try the big-name travel Web sites. You can often get decent rooms
for $40. If you call or walk up to the desk you'll spend considerably
more.

If you don't drive, you will pretty much need to stay at a 'Value'
resort (either one of the All Star or the Pop Century). The All star
resorts are all pretty much the same, except for the giant icons that
represent their themes. If you stay at one of the Disney value
resorts, they can bus you to/from the airport and you will get bus
transportation to/from all the theme parks, all at no charge. I would
look for some of the travel packages - some of them have the park
tickets, hotel, air tickets and/or meals included, but look at the
packages CAREFULLY - sometimes, it will be cheaper to buy the elements
separately. Especially a dining plan - if you are not a big eater, it
doesn't make sense to pay full rates for the rooms just to get 'free
dining' (you are really paying for it, since you are paying full rate
for a room). If you belong to AAA, you can also get a deal on a room.

There are seven "motel sixes" motel6.com in the area with some
cheap ones on the south side. They dont provide
shuttles like some of the other motels.
