I didn't notice any merchandise, but I did spot Wall-E advertising. On
a bus, I think.

Argh. They're holding back on Wall-E stuff, as far as I can tell. We were
at the Disney Store this weekend and bought the last little Wall-E toy
figure they had. The CM told me that there are several Wall-E character
toys out, but they sell as soon as they get out on the floor (and probably
ending up on eBay for 2 or 3x original cost).

lol. But you know, we've been a little surprised and dismayed by the lack
of Wall-E merchandise available. I'm hoping to see more at WDW... but
honestly, the stuff in the picture I found online is pretty slim. (We
wouldn't mind finding it, though.)

Just got back from the World and there is little to no Wall-E
merchandise to be found. Some Eve and other minor characters, but no
Wall-E. I spoke to a cast member who told me that for some reason
Disney did not expect the popularity of the character and did not come
out with much advertising. He told me any time they get anything Wall-
E in, it sells out almost immediately. I was very disappointed.

I'm guessing they'll come out with more when it's released on DVD. I
remember the Cars merchandise wasn't very plentiful right when the movie
came out, but they let stuff dribble out bit by bit. By the time the DVD
was released, plenty of things were out (but many things were hard to find
because they were being snapped up by collectors).

That's just what the CM at the Disney Store said. Not the t-shirts but the
little toys.

Thanks for the tip, Mark. Sounds like we should be able to find something
Wall-E for our little guy. :-)

Thanks Rodney. I suppose eventually we'll have to venture into TRU... but
I think it will knock Quinn's socks off to be able to get something Wall-E
at WDW.
