Checking In

Hey, kids! I got an e-mail from Rodney today, asking if I was still
alive.

;-)

Only you old-timers will remember me... Newbies won't have a clue who
I am.

I'm alive and well, still living in Florida. I haven't had an AP for
some time; I had to cut back on my Disney habit when my wife and I
bought a house! I headed up Grad Nite for our local high school for a
number of years, but gave that up last year because I was just wore
out (and don't even get me started on how Disney has screwed up Grad
Nite). So I haven't been to WDW now in well over a year. That's some
sort of record for me!

Rodney tells me Paul T. is gone. Not to worry, folks--he's still
kicking. He showed up over at The Motley Fool's message boards a while
back, to my surprise. He hangs out at the Disney board there.

Any RADP-ers from my generation, post a reply. Bruce? Paragon? Rob?
Fudgie? So many names from years gone by... I can't even remember them
all!

paragon still posts every once in awhile, Randy passed away and I
guess everyone else posts elsewhere.

I remember you! I've never been a huge voice here on radp, but I've been
mostly-around since 1997.

The site went away for several reasons:

1. It was WAY time-consuming.
2. After letting my AP run out, I just didn't get down there enough to
keep a close eye on things.
3. Maintenance was on an upward trend, with a lot of the old problems
getting fixed.

I'll post about Grad Nite in a new thread.

I'm not dead yet! Just tend to lurk more than not....
