Based on nothing but memory, I feel it's Wosniak. It just looks more
like him than Jobs. I can't speak for the car. | |

According to the Imagineers, it isn't any specific person. It's a
conglomeration of all the computer nerds of the time, working late
hours in their garages starting what would become huge computer
companies.

Amanda,
We have a resident Imagineer ? Wow !!
In the original concept art, it was the Wonderful Wizard of Woz, at work in
Steve Jobs' garage. By the time the installation took place, the character
and surroundings changed to include several other notables such as Robert
Noyce, Bill Gates, Gordon Moore, Jack Tramiel, and several others. So,
technically, it is an amalgam (but 80% Woz in my opinion). Careful
inspection of all the props would yield a treasure trove of early
memorabilia, in the WDI tradition.
As far as I know, the car is not a specific set piece, just a prop from the
CA Studios boneyard. I'll see if I can find out more !

Kitty,
You are welcome. I hope it makes your time on the attraction that much more
fun. When I retire I am going to go back to being a tour guide (doesn't pay
enough for me to leave my day job yet). Or maybe I can convince Disney to
let me start up a new 'behind the scenes' show on The Disney Channel.
And Congratulations to you ! That was a great article in the AllEars
newsletter. I like your writing style very much !
